El Rey Azteca is becoming Memo's Mexican Kitchen - a fresh new Mexican restaurant featuring authentic Mexican flavors, handcrafted margaritas and cocktails, and an inviting atmosphere true to the heart of Mt. Juliet.
Memo's is named after the restaurant owner, Memo Murrillo, who began his career at El Rey Azteca as a server in 2006. In 2011 Memo and his wife Katie (a Nashville native) purchased the restaurant and focused on creating a place where guests could enjoy delicious Mexican food in a warm and welcoming environment.
Memo and Katie are thrilled to continue the legacy of El Rey Azteca while offering Mt. Juliet a new spin on authentic Mexican food. We hope you'll join us at Memo's Mexican Kitchen!
