Based on the Academy-Award winning animated feature\, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over 13 years and was nominated for 9 Tony Awards including Best Musical.\n\n\n\nThe classic story tells of Belle\, a young woman in a provincial town\, and the Beast\, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved\, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon\, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.\n\n\n\nThis "tale as old as time" is filled with spectacular costume and Audience of One Productions has hit it out of the park with breathtaking sets.  Disney's Beauty and the Beast offers a great opportunity to bring your family and friends to a TPAC/Broadway quality production right here in the Lebanon town square Capitol Theatre brings Broadway's Beauty and the Beast to the Stage!\n\nAbout Audience of One Productions:\n\n            Audience of One Productions began with the vision of having TPAC/Broadway quality theatre available in Wilson County.  Angie Dee\, founder and director\, walked into Capitol Theatre and envisioned talented young actors performing Broadway shows on this remarkable stage.  With a dream and the help of the Holy Spirit\, Angie began to take flight with launching Audience of One's first production 2015 Into the Woods.   "I think we surprised a lot of people.  It was hard to believe that a group of high school students could achieve the level of professionalism that the Into the Woods cast was able to achieve. Sondheim's music is extraordinarily difficult.  When you add the choreography and depth of acting that these students displayed well it was nothing short of miraculous."   Angie gives the Holy Spirit all credit along with her team: Musical Director\, Beth Lockamey\, Orchestration\, Julie Lopez\,  Assistant to Director\, Tress Springler\,  Choreographers: Rebecca Poole\, Tessa Grooves\, and Hope Beard of whom all brought their gifts to life through the performers.  \n\n            Angie\, with the help of her Music Director and Choreographer\, Mallory Mundy\, are excited to bring to the stage Audience of One's 2016 Production of Beauty in July and the Beast and Broadway's Christmas Carol Musical in December.
