SUMMARY:Monthly Chamber Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our January Connection Luncheon!\n\n \n\n \n \n\nWe're excited to welcome representatives Scott and Jennifer Selliers from Friends of the Cedars of Lebanon for an insightful conversation about their work and impact in our community.\n\n\n Scott and his family moved onto their rural property in eastern Wilson County in 2013. He retired his professional finance and real estate licenses in 2020 to focus on his family's day-to-day operation and nonprofit activities. Scott and his family love to travel\, both for his wife Jennifer's work as a consultant in the finance/compliance industry and to visit friends and family. The Selliers have two sons: the oldest is currently stationed at Fort Johnson in Louisiana as part of the Army's 10th Mountain Division while the youngest attends junior high at Tuckers Crossroads. Scott proudly serves the Wilson County community as a board member at large for both the Wilson County Fair / Tennessee State Fair and the Fiddlers Grove Foundation. He actively studies American history as part and parcel his volunteer work\, genealogical research\, and participation in the Sons of the American Revolution. When not engaged in research\, Scott can usually be found camping out of the back of his truck\, cooking on antique cast iron cookware over a fire\, and enjoying life at Stonybrook - the Selliers Family's home in Middle Tennessee.\n\n \nJennifer Selliers has called Lebanon "home" since 2013. She has over 20 years of successful experience\, overseeing compliance administration for diverse financial institutions - including the State of Tennessee Department of Treasury. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Public Service Management from \n\nCumberland University\, in addition to other professional designations. Jennifer is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law and currently serves as the President of the Friends of Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Apart from other professional and philanthropic aspirations\, Jennifer\n\nenjoys long-distance backpacking and hobby-farming in Tennessee with her family. \n \n\nThis month is extra special as our 2026 Board of Directors will take their official oath during the luncheon. It's a great opportunity to connect\, learn\, and celebrate the year ahead together.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeats fill up fast so be sure to get your ticket soon. \n\n\n\nSeating is limited - we ask that you RSVP in advance so we can monitor space requirements.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n \n\n*The program\, speaker\, menu\, and other changes may occur due to unexpected circumstances with or without advance notice. We very much appreciate your understanding and continued support. Reservations made after the Friday prior to the luncheon will incur a late charge for both members and non-members. Reservations are non-refundable when canceled after the Friday prior to the luncheon. Member credits may be used for late registration but lunch tickets cannot. Feel free to contact the Chamber if you have any questions.\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: If WCS is closed due to inclement weather\, programs starting before 11:00 AM will be cancelled. Cancellation for programs starting after 11:00 will be determined not later than the morning of the program. \n\n\n\nDisclaimer: As a non-profit organization\, the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce does not promote or endorse political candidates. Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce events are not grounds for campaigning or the distribution of campaign material. We would like to thank those who hold and/or pursue an elected office for being a Chamber supporter.
