"Carrying the Cross for Redemption"
Cross Strength Ministries and R3 Domestic Violence Services Present: A man, a Cross, and a Cause. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and to raise funds for "Project Redemption" David Ashley, aka: The Pastor of Pump, will be taking up the cross of domestic violence and walking 50 miles through Wilson County, TN to raise awareness and money for Redemption - A crisis intervention ministry for high-risk families of domestic abuse and sexual assault. Each purple ribbon laid on the cross represents the victims of domestic abuse - while each black ribbon laid on the cross represents the 210 Tennessee victims who died in domestic violence homicides last year.
Wilson County, TN does not have a crisis center, domestic violence shelter, or any resources for domestic violence victims and their families... Help us change that.
For more information or to donate to the cause, please contact David or Holly Ashley at CrossStrengthMinistries.org or 480-229-2815 or email us at Holly@Redemption3.com.
