Jason Johnson
Director of Tourism, Wilson County Convention & Visitors Bureau
Director of Tourism for the Wilson County CVB for 6 years. Prior to that, was in corporate training and management in the hospitality (specifically restaurant) industry. Has lived in Wilson County for over 25 years. Currently lives in Gladeville with his wife, Kristy where they are sports Ubers for their twin 12-year-old boys, Aiden and Elijah.
Jason brings over 25 years of local insight and experience, including six years leading tourism efforts for Wilson County and a background in hospitality management and corporate training. During this session, he’ll share an inside look at the growing role of tourism in our community.
While highlighting upcoming events, Jason will focus on the broader impact tourism has on Wilson County’s economy, growth, and overall success. This is a great opportunity to better understand how tourism supports local businesses and contributes to the continued development of our region.
