Joy Church of Mt. Juliet's ''Extraordinary Easter Services''
Joy Church extends a community-wide invitation to everyone to be their special guest this Easter weekend as they “Celebrate Easter with Joy”. Three extraordinary Easter services are scheduled, Saturday evening, April 4th at 5 p.m. and Easter Sunday, April 5th, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. A variety of fun activities are planned for the whole family and will be available before and after the Saturday service, and before the 9 a.m. Sunday service and after the 11 a.m. Sunday service.
Activities for elementary and preschool children include several large inflatables which will be set up outside and colorful Easter characters who will be making appearances to add some joy to the weekend. Other surprises are in-store for the children during the children’ ministry as they learn about the Lord Jesus!“Joy to Go”, the church’s 24-foot mobile kitchen, will be on site cooking and serving free treats to all in attendance. The mobile kitchen is used in conjunction with many of the Joy Church community outreaches. Nearly 13,000 free meals have been served to residents around the Mt. Juliet area.
For those with a sweet tooth, our Easter “Candy Buffet” will be set up featuring a wide variety of free candies. Photo opportunities will be available for individuals, groups and families. For those who want to have a little fun, a “selfie” photo area will be staged with various props to use to create a wacky and memorable photo. Those interested in a more professional style photo can take advantage of a free photo from the photo booth. These photos will be made available at a later time online.

Joy Church is a rapidly growing multi-generational, multi-cultural church with people from almost every denominational background including those with no church background at all. Senior Pastor Jim Frease Dave Goldner shares, “At Joy Church you will find genuine and loving people, a sense of humor, and lots of joy! If you don’t like organized religion, you will love Joy Church where we believe in “organized relationship”. We are not about religion, we are about relationship…with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. We are not about tradition, but the liberating Word of God. And we are not about enduring life, we are all about enjoying life!”
