Plein Air at The Hermitage

Celebrate the beauty of autumn at Plein Air Day at The Hermitage! Throughout the day, watch members of the Chestnut Group paint across the historic grounds, capturing the fall colors and iconic landscapes of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. Feeling inspired? Register for one of four hands-on painting workshops led by experienced artists. Workshops are offered at 10:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. and are open to all skill levels. Whether you're new to painting or looking to sharpen your skills, you'll have the opportunity to create your own artwork surrounded by the beauty of The Hermitage. Plein Air Day is a site-wide experience included with general admission. Workshops require separate registration and include admission to the grounds.
