Licensed mental health provider
Licensed Mental Health Therapist LPC • LPC-MHSP • LMFT • LCSW • Licensed Psychologist • Other Independently Licensed Tennessee Behavioral Health Clinicians Build the Counseling Career You Want. We’ll Help You Build the Rest. Middle Tennessee Behavioral Health (MTBH) is a growing, locally owned outpatient counseling practice seeking independently licensed clinicians who are able to practice in Tennessee. Whether you’re looking for a full-time career, a part-time opportunity, a way to supplement your current position, or a practice that better fits your life, we’d love to talk. We also welcome clinicians returning to practice after time away or those interested in continuing to practice during retirement. Work remotely from within the United States while serving Tennessee clients, from our beautiful office in Lebanon, Tennessee, or create a hybrid schedule that works for you and your clients. Our philosophy is simple: exceptional clinicians should spend their time helping clients, not building and managing a business. We provide referrals, insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, technology, and administrative support so you don’t have to build every part of a private practice on your own. Instead, you can focus your time and energy where it belongs: providing exceptional care. Whether you’re leaving an agency, considering private practice, already seeing clients independently, or simply looking for something different, MTBH offers the independence many therapists want with the support, referrals, resources, and collaborative environment they often don’t have when building a practice on their own. Why Join MTBH? Practice in a Way That Fits Your Life Every clinician’s career is different. We’ll work with you to create a role that supports your professional goals while fitting your life, whether you’re building a thriving caseload, supplementing another position, or seeking a more balanced schedule. Focus on Counseling, Not Running a Business Forget worrying about referrals, insurance credentialing, billing, office expenses, software, scheduling, marketing, and much of the day-to-day work of operating a practice. We handle much of the business so you can focus on providing excellent client care. Professional Freedom. Real Support. Practice with the independence you value while enjoying the resources of an established local group practice. You’ll have professional autonomy without unnecessary micromanagement or rigid productivity quotas. If there’s a specialty you’d like to develop, a therapy group you’ve always wanted to offer, a workshop you’d like to teach, or a new idea that could better serve our clients and community, we want to hear it. Whether you’re passionate about launching a new therapy group, developing a specialty, offering community workshops, or creating an innovative program, we’ll work with you to explore what’s possible. Built by Local People. Built for Our Community. We believe supporting our clinicians is just as important as supporting our clients. MTBH is led by David Kinzer, an experienced Tennessee clinician whose relaxed, approachable leadership style reflects the kind of practice we’re building. His decades of professional and life experience have shaped a culture built on trust, integrity, collaboration, and respect for each clinician’s professional judgment. Because we’re locally owned, decisions are made by people who live and work in the same communities we serve, not by a distant corporate office or outside investors. That gives us the flexibility to listen, adapt, and build a practice that reflects the needs of our clients and clinicians. We believe local practices build stronger relationships, respond more personally to the needs of their communities, and create workplaces where every clinician has a voice. As our practice grows, we’re committed to listening to our team, investing in our clinicians, and creating new opportunities together. Our goal isn’t simply to build a successful counseling practice. We want to build a practice our community is proud to have and a workplace our clinicians are proud to call home.
