Kathy Posey attended Johnson University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Bible and Elementary Education with a minor in English Language Learners (ELL). She later earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University and a Doctorate in Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Mrs. Posey has been a dedicated member of the MJCA community since 1993, with a brief leave to stay home with her children. Over the years, she has faithfully served in multiple roles, including teacher, Curriculum and Instruction Director, Lower School Principal, and, currently, Superintendent. She is an advanced trainer for the Foundations and Frameworks reading program and is also trained in the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) educational therapy model.
