Guest Speaker Pfil Hunt- Partner with Wrathell Hunt & Associates, LLC

Pfil will talk about the Tennessee REIDA legislation that now allows developers access to tax-exempt development financing for their public infrastructure. Developers can now create Infrastructure Development Districts (IDDs) with the assistance of cities and counties, at minimal or no cost to the sponsoring cities and counties.

He will also talk about the powers detailed in the legislation and how to actually use it, giving examples of how it has been used hundreds of times in neighboring Southeastern states under similar laws. This law benefits residential, commercial, and mixed-use developers.
